ABBA imposters!

I'm still loving my internship in Birmingham. I can't get over how great everyone is at work--they're always so helpful and friendly! :) I'm still mostly doing copy editing, some interviews and writing, along with other little projects here and there. And here's another list of other stuff that's been going on:

• I met a guy who owns a grappling hook. Yes, a grappling hook. Like, Batman style. He climbs buildings with it. This is not a joke. He also looks like Zac Efron. His girlfriend could be Vanessa. So I basically met Zanessa. Ha.
  
• Evidently it is a crime that I do not like sweet tea.
  
• Southern accents make my day. *sigh*
  
• My sunglasses broke.
  
• I bought pink earplugs. And a talking Larry the Cable Guy Father's Day card. My dad will love it. :)
  
• I met some fantastic people over the weekend at a track meet I went to--including Zanessa.
  
• I'm leaving for Bonnaroo on Thursday!
  
• The other day, I was going through the checkout line at the grocery store. I thought the cashier said something to me that I did not hear, so I said, "What?" He looked at me and said, "Oh nothing. Just admiring." Skeez alert in the Dirrtay South!
  
• When I was walking on the walking trail the other day, a lady yelled at me, "Jesus loves you, ma'am!" I wonder if I was looking more like a delinquent than usual that day...
• I went to a concert in the park last Friday. The performers: Waterloo, a group of people who tour around performing ABBA songs.
  
• I am still horrible at Guitar Hero.
• My ability to jog on hills in the Alabama humidity is questionable.
• I love and miss everyone from home. But don't worry, I'm having a wonderful time here. :)
